great information!Obviously you are a serious researcher, so I'm honored to hear from you.One serious item missing for me is PROOF that Moses Birdwell Childress' wife was indeed Eliza Jane OLIVER.We've known for sure she was Moses' wife, and you find the two of them as man and wife in every on-line and written history you can find.I've visited the cemetery and photographed their headstones.Her headstone does not contain her maiden name, Oliver.DRT does not accept any evidence of her being his wife that I've been able to find, and that is partially because of the Shelby County Courthouse fire you reference.Again, THANK YOU for your most informative post, and if you have any suggestions as to how I can proove the wife of Moses Birdwell Childress was OLIVER, please let me know.
