news clipping of VA Oliver's moved graves
I have a partial news clipping my father in law sent me the date isn't listed but I believe it's from 1998. It tells about a grave site found that held the graves of 11 Oliver's. It tells mostly of the grave of Yelverton Oliver who was buried in an iron casket and remained intact with flowers on his chest that's leaves were still green even after being buried for 140 years. His parents wereprobably also buried there and are listed as Charles and Lucy Oliver. Charles (1777-1851) fought in the war of 1812 and lived in a log cabin called Oak Spring that still stands. Yelverton's wife was named Catherine and they had 7 children.
