Has anyone ever heard of this story from Menomonee Falls MI? It tells the story of the Men from the Olive family fighting in the different wars (civil,etc.) There was an article in Time or Life magazine many many years ago. There is also supposed to be a marker or site in Michigan that tells this story.
The names might be Frank and Maxim who came over with Lafayette. Franks sons fought in the civil war. One son would be William H. who married Hannah Hansesn from Norway.
