James was born in 1829 and was the son of James Oliphant & Ann Bryce he was a Master Clothier he died in 1901 in Glasgow
He Married Catherine Campbell in Glasgow in 1851….at this point I assume her parents to be George Campbell and Ann Auld as James later married Mary Campbell.
They had 2 children – James in 1852 who later moves to Derby and marries and Catherine born 1854 though can find no further info on marriage or death.
Catherine Campbell must have died at the end of 1854 as James marries Mary Campbell in April 1855 see separate posting
Would love to hear from anyone who has further information
