I wanted to add my two cents...just found out the maiden name of my gggrandmother two days ago. Julia Francis Oliff married Gustavus Thomas Cook July 27, 1883 in Westmoreland, VA. She died from child bearing January 13, 1884. Her parents listed in the marriage registry were R (can't read the first name) and Lucinda Oliff. On the death registry it said her mother was Louisa. If anyone knows this family...please pass along the info. If I find out anything else, I will add it also.
