I have since verified that Matilda J. "Tillie" Oldham Hughes is the one that died in 1899 not William Swan Hughes. Matilda is buried in the Barry Cemetery in Clay county, MO along with 2 of her sons and their wives...Sarah "Sallie" Williams Hughes was only married to John Hughes who died in 1817..Sarah died in 1851 in Platte County, MO and was a widow living next (and then with one of them) to 2 of her children till her death. She was NOT married to Richard Oldham. I have found many facts and even a picture of Matilda Hughes thanks to the Oldham family website. They have been very helpful and have a lot of information with backing....Martha
