Seeking information on the children and descendants of James B. Oldham and his wife, Eliza M. Paxton. They were m. 21 Apr 1853 according to the TN marriages online at Ancestry.com.
James and Eliza Oldham had the following children: R. Vinkler, b. 1856; Fannie J., b. 1858; Button (?) male, b. 1862; Mary Lee/Lillian, b. 1864; Margaret N., b. 1866; Thomas I., b. 1868; Wiser (?) female, b. 1872; & James D., b. 1874. All of these children were b. in Shelby Co., TN.
Specifically interested in the descendants of R. Vinkler Oldham, nickname of "Brink." He m. first to Elizabeth C. Unknown and they had a son, Adolphous. Elizabeth had m. previous to Unknown Hedgepeth and had a daughter, Julie. They were on the 1880 Shelby Co., TN census in the 4th Civil District.
R. Vinkler Oldham m. 2nd to Lucretia Mulligan about 1886, d/o Jonathan Mulligan and Nancy Brumley. Lucretia was b. Jan 1871 in AR. Known children of Lucretia and R.V. Oldham are 3 daughters, Lizzie B., b. Mar 1895; Annie L., b. Nov 1896; & Nora E., b. Dec 1898, d. 1931. There may have been more children that I am unaware of at this time.
I am not a direct descendant of Lucretia Mulligan, but she was my 3rd great-aunt, as Jonathan Mulligan was my 3rd great-grandfather.
Any information would be appreciated.
