OLDHAM AND GOLDSMITH DUNKLIN, MISSOURI

John E. OLDHAM and Sarah E. GOLDSMITH were married Nov 10, 1873, Dunklin, MO. They had at least two children: Sarah A b. 1875 and Jemey b. 1879. Did they have other children?

John E. OLDHAM had a daughter ROXIE OLA OLDHAM born Aug 1888 in Sunset, Texas. It seems curious that, if Sarah E Goldsmith was her mother, there were no children born between Jemey 1879 and Roxie 1888.

Does anyone know when/where SARAH ELIZABETH GOLDSMITH OLDHAM died?

By the 1900 Oklahoma Census John E. OLDHAM is in Stroud, Lincoln Co., Oklahoma:
John Oldham Head W M Aug 1851 Mo Father:? Mother: TN
Fannie Wife W F Jul 1850 TN S.C. GA

Roxie O. Oldham Dau W F Aug 1888 TX MO TN
Ella Brown S-Dau W F Mar 1888 TX Mississippi TN
Lula Brown S-Dau W F Jul 1884 TX Mississippi TN

John E OLDHAM and FANNIE J (nee TALLEY) BROWN were married abt 1894. By this marriage, my ggrandfather, John E. Oldham became the brother-in-law of my ggrandfather Drew Martin Rodgers.

Drew Martin Rodgers' son Willis Samuel Rogers married John E Oldham's daughter Roxie Ola Oldham.

Roxie is buried near OLNEY, TEXAS.

Was JOHN E OLDHAM married a second time after SARAH E GOLDSMITH and before FANNY TALLEY BROWN?

Obviously, all the above questions must be answered before we can KNOW we are GOLDSMITH descendants.

Anyone with ANY information? Of course, I will be most appreciateive and will provide any information I have that will assist you.
