My husbnd's line had a Martha Oldfield born in England, much earlier than yours, but her son, Thomas Smith, born 1590 in England, migrated to Boston,Mass circa 1629, as his daughter Judith Smith, was born there.
Martha Oldfield born circ 1570 marr.Symon Smyth of London and Stepney,Surrey. Their granddaughter Judith Smith and husband Richard Tozier were early settlers of Salmon Falls, Me.
