Hi:

My grandfather was Walter Oldfield B: 1882. He left England
to fight in the Boer War and then went to the U.S.A. and
finally resided in Canada.
G.Grandfather Thomas Oldfield B: 1854 Whittlesea, Cambridge,
England in 1854 a Blacksmith. Died: 1885.
G.Grandmother Alice Eliz. Newell B: 02 May 1860
Saint Andrew, Holborn, London. I obtained this information
from the 1881 British Census for Yorkshire. My grandfather's sister was Alice Elizabeth B: 1880 in Sheffield and I believe
he had a brother George who was born in 1885 in Sheffield.
If you have any information regarding this family it would be much appreciated.
