My gggrandfather was Carl Oldenburg,b.Sept.13,1809 in Dersenow,Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Came to the US with wife and family in 1849(?). I have first record for him bying in Detroit 1854. Moved to Farmington,Mi. 1865. Died in Farmington May 29,1894. Buried: Clarenceville Cemetery,Livonia. Sk3 K.W.Oldenburg,USN-RET.
