I have some additional information that may help you in your search. My Grandmother Hazel A. O'Kelly (maiden Pirwitz) 3/21/02 - 1986) collected the following information years ago before she died during her own search for the family history. The family tree as we know it is as follows:

Ella Pritchard 1845-1938 was the mother of Jessie Pritchard 1888-1918 (Jessie died while giving birth to your grandfather James when my grandfather Raymond was 13). Jessie married William A. O'Kelly 1880-1943. William's father was Alfred O'Kelly and his mother was Margaret O'Kelly (maiden Stuart) 1857-1942 (note: My information on Margaret lists her name as Margaret Stuart O'Kelly Cowen - This may mean she remarried at some point and became a Cowen but I am not sure...). Margaret and her family came from Scottland.

Back to Jessie and William - Their children were: Raymond Burdel (1/5/05 - 1958); William Richard; Mildred; and James. All I know about Mildred and James is that they were adopted by Jessie's sister Lou Walsh. Mildred married and became a Dietz. I know nothing about William but I do of course know about the children of Raymond and Hazel (if you need to know it...). It is not clear why Mildred and James were the only children adopted by Lou at the time of Jessie's death or even why.

Please contact me at if you need more info (sorry, I didn't pay attention to your email address before I posted back on this site or I would have gone direct...). I look forward receiving any information you have on the Pritchard or O'Kelly families when you are able. I might also be able to find out more from my dad or one of his 4 sisters if this still leaves you with missing information but I don't know if any of them ever went beyond what my Grandmother provided in her search.
