Dear Gloria,
Dad used to correspond with the family of Cornelius O'keeffe who lived around Wollongong in NSW. Cornelius was the patriarch but other Corneliuses followed I think. I once met a descendant who dropped one F. I also knew Darryl O'Keeffe who broke his leg playing flyhalf for Manly. He had great talent.

Kerry O'Keeffe was another descendant.. He played cricket for Australia and for English county sides.

I suggest you get the Australian White Pages telephone directory up on the internet and look for all O'Keeffes in the Bulli or Wollongong and environs in New South Wales.
