Hello, my name is john egan and i live in Parkbridge, Co. wicklow, Ireland. In response to your article on Peter Doyle, my great great granny was Mary Ann Browne from clonamonagh, craanford. Her mother died on the birth of twins, and her aunt and uncle Maggie and John Doyle from Park, co. Wicklow brought her her to their house and shop where she married Martin Egan, from Cork, in 1912..Much to mention, i think Peter Doyle and siblings were also from this house in which we live today where we still run a family pub and shop!!so maybe Peter Doyle was Mary Ann's cousin...any more information for me?!
