Hello there Jill

The O'Keefe's in my family came from Tipperary to South Australia in 1856 & 1857.
Their children were baptised in Galbally, which is just across the border in Limerick, but they were married in Tipperary.
Have you been able to find anything further out?
Mine:
John O'Keefe married Johanna Hickey.
Their Children:
Patrick O'Keefe baptised 6 May 1826 in Gallbablly, Limerick
Married Mary Frewen 22/7/1856 in Tipperary Parish. she was born in 1823 in Co. Clare.
John O'Keefe 1829 Galbally
Michael O'Keefe 1833 Galbally
Thomas O'Keefe 1836 Galbally
Matthew O'Keefe c 1838 Galbally
Catherine O'Keefe 1838

Patrick & Catherine arrived in South Australia in 1856 aboard the "Lord Hungerford".
Mary (nee Frewen) her daughter Johanna O'Keefe & 3 of Patrick's brothers, John, Thomas & Matthew arrived in South Australia aboard the Caucasian in 1857.

I would imagine there would have to be some connection between our two O'Keefe families somewhere back in Ireland.

Regards
Colleen
