I am reasearching the life of this Union Officer in the American Civil War.He was Commander of the above unit when killed at Gettysburg. He was born circa 1818 in the Learmount/Banagher/Park parish/area of Co.Londonderry. He married before he left for America and had two girls probably named Hannah and Mary and a third daughter born in Philadelphia.Prior to joining the army he owned a tavern in Philadelphia.Any feedback on the Colonels wife and children appreciated. Thanks = M.A.Higgins
