Cindy - I'll appreciate it very much if you do some looking for Frank and Maggie Jones in Mooreland. I now know that Frank (Francis Marion Jones) was born in Grant County, Wisconsin. It's interesting because that's where Maggie's father first lived as a new immigrant Cornish miner - straight from Cornwall. But Maggie was born in Hampton, Iowa, after her father bought a farm in Franklin County, Iowa. I've just come back from a three week tour of Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa hunting my many roots there. I found that funeral homes were a wonderful resource. I got cemetery maps and they even knew exactly where my folks were buried. They also gave me copies of burial information sheets that then gave me names and addresses of living distant cousins. What a help!!
