HINE - Otice Glen, 94, passed away Monday, July 28, 2008, at his home in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife of 20 years and life long friend, Thelma Louise; a son, Jerry Hine; 2 daughters, Joyce Lewis and Lynda Jung; 13 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Anna Del Hine. In college Glen was nominated to Who's Who in American College Students and he was captain of his football team. Upon graduation he went into teaching and coaching. During WWII he worked for Douglas Aircraft and later for Spartan, designing trailer homes and a deep freeze. He was one of the pioneers in the camper, trailer and mobile home industry and ran "Hine's Trailer Shop" in Tulsa for many years. Glen worked for the State of Oklahoma in Vocational Rehabilitation until forced to retire because of his age. He complained that he shouldn't have to retire as he loved his work and he was younger than the then President Reagan. Glen is an Elder in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.
