I had read in a book, The History of Sequoyah County, an article by Eric Allen about John Wesley Allen. He mentioned that John Wesley Allen had gone to visit his uncle, Fate Rich, when he was fourteen. I couldn't think of how he was kin. So Miranda was married to an Allen? Do you know which one? I have transcribed all of Liberty Cemetery on Findagrave.com if you want to know that. My greatgrandfather was James A. Allen buried in Liberty Cemetery. I am trying to find anything available about the Allen family from Long and Liberty and Roland area. I have tried to find the parents' names of Alexander Allen, James' father. I can't find anything.
