My great, great uncle, Gilbert Wesley Wilson, died in Black Gum Mountain, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. I am trying to locate his burial site. Gilbert is on the final rolls for the Cherokees.

Gilbert Wesley Wilson
b. July 22, 1832 in Georgia
d. December 6, 1898 in Black Gum Mountain, Sequoyah Co., OK
m. Nancy Harnage, November 15, 1854 in Henderson, Rusk County, TX
b. March 23, 1838 in Cherokee Nation, Arkansas
d. June 1872

His sister, Priscilla Wilson (Aunt Cilla), went from TX to OK where she taught in an Indian school. I believe some of my Wilsons lived around Vian, OK. All of them went from TX to OK except for one brother and my great grandmother, Mary Magdaline Wilson Vinson. I'm also trying to find out where Aunt Cilla taught.
