Johnny T. Heard passed away, December 23, 2009 at the age of 69 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born July 17, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Alford T. and Edith "Nutt" Heard. Johnny was a communications specialist with Tinker Air Force Base, retiring after 33 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, in particular hunting, fishing, cycling and running. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of the home; three sons, Alan Heard and his wife Ruth of Grapevine, TX; Greg Heard and his wife Michelle of Mustang, OK; and Clint Heard and his wife Kim of Haslet, TX; one sister, Dortha Aebischer and her husband Lenin of Oklahoma City, OK; six grandchildren, Emily, Alyssa, Gavin, Lauren, Evan, and Collin. He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Louise, Shirley and Barbara. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Johnny's family will be at Resthaven to greet friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2009, at the Southern Hills Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
