CHELSEA BLACKSMITH SHOP---"Lee" Murphy
Posted by: Jo (ID *****3960) Date: March 02, 2003 at 15:28:27

Would like to have a picture of the old Blacksmith Shop that was there in Chelsea. It would mean so much to me, especially if the picture happens to have the blacksmith, William "Lee" Murphy in it also. He was my grandfather.

"Lee" and Amanda Jane Hemphill Murphy reared their family there in Chelsea. The children all attended Chelsea High School. Some of my uncles excelled in sports while attending high school. Any of those pictures would be nice to have also. Ronnie and Billy, I believe, played basketball and football. Billy was Sheriff in Chelsea for a while.

If anyone remembers this family and is wondering where I fit in, I am Woody's (Woodrow) daughter.

Thanks for any assistance in advance. Good luck in your research.

May God bless you all.

Jo
