Thank you for your reply. Actually my query should have said 1930 Rogers Co., OK. Edd Chiles, age 36, born in MO, was with his wife Pearl, age 29 also born in MO. Listed with them was Palmira Brown, age 58, widow of Andrew Brown and Elizabeth Sanders, age 2, born in MO listed as a niece.
Palmira Brown was listed as a "grandmother". I don't think this was correct. She was born Palmira Crittenden, daughter of Moses Crittenden in 1871 Indian Territory, OK.
That is all I have on Edd Chiles, just the question of how he may have been related to Palmira. Palmira and Andrew Brown are buried at Ward's Grove Cemetery. Their children were Myrtle, James, William, Lillie and Isaac Brown. I'm still trying to locate anyone living from that family.
