Oklahoma began keeping birth and death records in 1908, but early records are sometimes missing. These are available through the Oklahoma Department of Health. Unfortunately, there is no online index for births or deaths. Marriage records are available through the counties and Pottawatomie County OK has done a great job of making information available. The first website has marriage records, plus a few more bits of information. The first link is to these online records. I did find your names in at least a few instances. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~okpcgc/vital_stats_index.html The 2nd link is to online cemetery records. You might find helpful information by going to the Pottawatomie link, then filling in the surname you are researching. There are a few tombstone photos. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~okcemete/okcem.htm I hope this helps. Notify Administrator about this message?
