s very dark, had black hair, and coal-black hair. He was tall and slim. his facial-features w/ high cheek bones would have been proof, alone. his maternal grandparents were from MI. they were LOUISA BEEBE AND WILEY CAPPS of GROESBECK,LIMESTONE CO.,TX.THE INDIANS THAT ONCE ROAMED THIS LAND WERE :COMANCHE AND APACHE.THIS WAS DUE TO THE AVAILABILITY OF WATER FOR THEIR HORSES AND THEMSELVES. THE COMANCHE RAN THE APACHE OFF! I SUSPECT GEO. STEMBRIDGE WAS OF ONE OF THOSE TRIBES,BUT I HAVEN'T ANY PROOF. HIS GRANDMOTHER LOUISA BEEBE,COULD HAVE BEEN FRENCH-CANADIAN,OR DESCENDED FROM A TRIBE UP NORTH. IS THERE A WAY TO FIND OUT HOW INDIANS WERE LISTED? THIS HAS BEEN A VERY STRESSFUL SEARCH AND ONE I KNOW VERY LITLE OF. IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS,INFO.,OR KNOWLEDGE ON THIS FAMILI,PLEASE E-MAIL ME. THANK YOU! JUDY jrmc7@msn.com CO
