Her parents:Ada Evening News Ada, Oklahoma May 30, 1947 F. A. Stephens FREDERICK ALLEN STEPHENS, 77, died at the home, 315 West Thirteenth, Friday. The funeral will be announced later by the Criswell Funeral Home. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. SARAH STEPHENS; seven daughters, Mrs. THENA GOODPASTURE, Mrs. RISSIE JONES, Mrs. VINIA TOWNSLEY, Mrs. ALICE VANDERGRIFF, Mrs. MARCHIE STEWART, Mrs. GEORGIE LEE of Ada and Mrs. BEATRICE WRIGHT of Durant; three sons, HENRY and ALBERT STEPHENS of Ada and GILBERT STEPHENS of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. JACK CORNEY, Mrs. SARAH EVES and Mrs. ETTA STEPHENS of Tennessee. August 13, 1956 Sarah Elizabeth Stephens Services for Mrs. SARAH ELIZABETH STEPHENS, 85, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Oak Avenue Baptist Church. She died Sunday morning at her home, 315 West Thirteenth. Dr. C. C. COEN will be in charged of the service which is under the direct of the Criswell Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosedale cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. THENA GOODPASTURE, Mrs. D. E. JONES, Mrs. MARCHIE STEWART, Mrs. J. R. VANDERGRIFF, Mrs. MOSE LEE, all of Ada; Mrs. ROY TOWNSLEY of Palm City, California; Mrs. EVALL WRIGHT of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sons, HENRY and ALBERT STEPHENS of Ada; two sisters, Mrs. REBECCA STEPHENS of Union Valley and Mrs. RISSIE PRICE of Norman; two brothers, JOHN and JIM BORING of Pecan Grove community; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
