Hass and Cannavan Families, Ada, Oklahoma
Posted by: Debbie Stuart (ID *****0514) Date: July 20, 2002 at 06:43:55

I have just discovered that two of my father's cousins, Willie May and Grace M. Harrison, married Philip S. Cannavan and Oscar L. Hass, respectively, and moved to Ada, Oklahoma. From the records I can find, it appears that Grace Hass died in 1964 and is buried in Ada, along with her husband. Willie Cannavan apparently died in the 1940's. I believe both these women had children.

I am trying to complete the information I have on their families. Their mother, Seanzie Patterson Harrison, was the half-sister of my grandfather, Espy Pearson Singleton. Their family was originally from Talladega County, Alabama, and settled in Forney, Kaufman County, Texas, in 1900.

Any help finding current members of the Hass and Cannavan families would be appreciated.
