Beverly, thank you very much, and yes this is Winnie Haines and Lee Carter. Lee Carter first married Clara Custer who died 1920/22 in Eufaula. Lee is the son of James Washington Carter/Cora Conly both parents born in Bienville Parish La. 1866 and 1872........... JW Carter/James arrived in IT Ok. about 1899, Lee Carter was b. in 1889 in Buffalo Gap Tx., Buffalo Gap is where JW Carter /Cora Conly married in 1888, Taylor Co. Tx., both of their families migrated to Tx. after the civil war from Bienville Parish La. in about 1880 period. Duncan Greenberry Carter was JW father. I hope that I am not bothering and I DO appreciate your HELP> Richard
