Ernest Palmer King's first wife from Kiowa 1918

Looking for the name of my grandfather's first wife. I beleive she was from the Kiowa area. My grandfather, Ernest Palmer King, worked for the Katy Railroad as a telegraph operator. In late 1971 and early 1918 he was in that area laying telegraph lines. He married a women around the 1st of June 1918. (She was already pregnant.) He left to join the army and enlisted on June 15th, 1918. The child was born in November, 1918 and died shortly after. I never knew any of this until last week. I would like to know who this woman was and what happened to her. My grandfather married my grandmother, Rubye S. Brown in 1920. She was also from Kiowa.
