I have been told that my gr.gr.grandparents are buried in McAlester and that they had lived in Krebs. They came over to this country from Scotland in the 1870's and worked in the coal mines in Pittsburg and Coal counties. I don't recognize any of the names you listed though. Here are my names:
John Wood and wife Margaret (Gourley) Wood (born 1825- 45?)
both lived to be 80-83 yrs. old
James Gourley Wood (son of John & Margaret)
Margaret Wood, married name Miller (dau of John & Margaret)
John Fisher and wife Ann "Annie" (Clelland) Fisher (born
George Fisher (son of John & Ann)
Annie Fisher, married name Lamb (dau. of John & Ann)
Margaret Fisher, married name McAlpine (dau. of John & Ann)
Nell Fisher, married name Miller (dau. of John & Ann)
Sorry I can't be specific about dates. All I have to go on is what a great aunt had told me. I have names and a few places. My gr.grandparents were William John Wood and Elizabeth Ann Fisher, children of these two families. They lived in Coalgate, had 8 children, and they and all but two of their children are buried in Coalgate in Coal county, though I don't know which cemetery.
Thanks for much for your offer of help. One of these days I am going to have to get over there and do some local research.
