A search of the Payne County marriage indices revealed no marriages here for Samaria Osabelle/Joseph Delmer Vroom, Tilden/Beatrice, Wade/Mary Ellen, Grace/Ira Jordan. There was a marriage for Dr. P.S. Mitchell, age 77, born KY, resident Yale, to Lizzie E. Nealey, age 63, born PA, resident Yale, on May 20, 1931, and found in Payne County Marriage book 18, page 100, performed by J.M. Jones, Minister Baptist of Yale, with witnesses Mrs. Ethel Elsey of Yale and Mrs. Wade C. Mitchell of Yale. No write-up of this marriage was found in the "Yale Record" newspaper, Yale, OK.
In Mahlon Erickson's "Payne County Cemetery Index", there is no listing for Tilden/Beatrice, Wade/Mary Ellen, Grace/Ira Jordan, and Samaria Osabelle/Joseph Delmer Vroom, Lizzie E. Nealey Mitchell/Nealey. Buried in Lawson Cemetery---

The obituary for Dr. P.S. Mitchell in the "Yale Record" newspaper, Yale, OK, Oct. 17, 1935, page 1, col. 1, makes no mention of children.
From the Phillip Mitchell Payne County probate will file #712W, showed will dated 6 April 1932 gave all to wife Lizzie E. Mitchell married on May 20, 1931 and other heirs to be sons, Judge T. Mitchell, deceased leaving father as heir (no probate found), Wade C. Mitchell, and daughters, Ora B. Vroom, and Grace F. Jordan. No place of residence for these individuals was listed. Each received a 1/3 share of royalities for the lands North 1/2 Section 29, North 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 29, and NE 1/4 of Section 30, Township 16 North, Range 15E, Muskogee County, OK.
