Thank you so much! This is really wonderful! I had been told Sidney's wife was Eva Murrell, so the revelation that it is Merrell as evidenced by her daughter's maiden name on the Death Index is indeed extremely helpful! I also had no idea all the sisters ended up in CA before their deaths. The "M" in Otie M. is for Merrell (although my mother-in-law was unsure of the exact name and correct spelling and thought it was Murrell. She knew he had his mother's maiden name, though). Curiously, the name that comes from a maiden name in the 1700's is Otey, but surprisingly Sidney and Eva spelled it Otie instead. You have been a tremendous help in providing me with this information and I do appreciate it!
