I found Rev. Vardry Burgess buried in LaSygne, Linn County, Kansas on a row adjacent to his daughter, Almeda Minton, and her family. He had purchased 5 plots together. The grave is unmarked. He died May 26, 1878. I have the obituary. Still looking for his wife, Malinda. In 1880 she was with her daughter, Almeda in LaSygne. She is not in the Kansas census for 1885. Therefore, signs point to her being buried with Vardry.
