I believe copies of the sexton's records had been donated to the Pawnee Historical Society. No records are ever perfect... often the sexton's only records yearly (or even less often), so perhaps he died soon after the 1900 census (I think I read that you had found him on the 1900 census). Or maybe the death/burial date is correct, except for the death year being off by 1 year. Notify Administrator about this message?
