I must have been really tired. I think I misread the census,
Or I assumed that since she was head of household that she was already widowed by Mr. Morrison.
1930 Census Quapaw, Ottawa Co. OK. She is listed as head of household, Name: Joan Morrison.
age 57 born about 1873 in Missouri..Mother born in Kentucky, Father born in Iowa. She was married at age 14.
Also in household, Frank McGee--son-in-law age 39 born in MO married at age 20
Jennie McGee--daughter age 38 born in MO. married at 17.
I know that sometimes the census are really garbled.
I have one that lists my Grandfather, Grandmother, my Mom and my Aunt, and from where it is supposed to tell where each ones parents are born , it shows my grandfather as being born in Missouri, My Grandmother as being born in Oklahoma, which are both correct, My mother and my Aunt as being born in Oklahoma, which are both correct, beyond that it is a total mess. Because they wrote words over words.
