Hello, Jack. This is my second attempt to answer you.I think my first was eaten by the computer.I have come to realize that the KABBS/KNOLL part of my family history is probably a mistake. My maternal great grandmother was Elizabeth CABE or COBE.I don't think there ever was a KNOLL.Anyway, the WILLIAMS portion was my grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Williams, daughter of John Thomas Williams, aka Thomas Wms., Tom Wms., "Tee", or JT Williams. His parents were John Siedell Williams and Charity Davis. "Tee" was married to Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cabe. The children from that union were Clara Josephine, John Cabe, Mabel, Mary Margaret "Molly", Robert, Charity Constantine, Kate, Sarah Elizabeth, and Thomas Les Barnett Williams. No Daisy; no Susie.Somewhere in that line is a Native American connection; probably Cherokee or Creek. One main NA reference is the Dawes Commission which is a seemingly endless collection of family names. The website of NARA/Genealogy/Native American Records contains other sources or you can pay a tribal group to reseach your NA connection.
