Hello I also have Mongrain in my family tree ( Osage ) the Mongrain tree goes back to Nathaniel Hale Pryor, also from him are the Redeagle's Whitehair, Bigheart. The only help I can give is to go to the Osage Tribal web site and look for Eddy Redeagle Jr. who can help you with the new genealogy resarch building in Pawhuska Oklahoma. If you find no help that way the Native Records are in Fort Worth TX. I found a Rosa Mongrain ( Jones ) roll number 1558 , birth 11-4-1890 death 12-7-1954 there are others in the rolls , this is from the Authentic Osage Indian roll book date 1906 you can find a new book about Nathaniel Hale Pryor , called the Life And Times Of Nathaniel Hale Pryor with some genealogy in it , written by Reno. Good luck
