The Black Dog you're looking for is probably the small 'area' between Hominy and Cleveland (Pawnee County). It was never a real town, just a settlement, named for a local creek. I don't know if it even had any stores or not. Of course, there is also the Black Dog Township, which is on the Tulsa/Osage Counties borders and is in Tulsa city limits.
