I am very curious about the 'American Rooms'. Does anyone know more about this place? I have below, Pawhuska City Directories for 1925, 1928 and 1938 showing some of the names of those I am related to directly or indirectly. Clara LONG is my grandmother.

Some abbreviations:
r=boarder or roomer

1938 Pawhuska City Directory for Pawhuska, Osage Co., Oklahoma
Keefe Jim (American Rooms) h same

Another page, pg 54:
American Rooms (Clara Long & Jim Keefe) 601 1/2 Ki-he-kah (bell symbol) 1468
Johnson R Grady (Ennis) mach h 409 E 10th (bell symbol)1528
Holeman, Leonard L. (Nettie L.) 1 lab r American Rms
No John A. LONG. (John has gone to Fairfax where his son John Arthur Long Junior lives)

It appears that Clara Long and Jim (James) Keefe help run American Rooms. Good possibility that Clara does the cooking as that is what she was know for, cooking for the bridge and road crews according to her daughter Nettie Lee.

Thanks, Sarah
