Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The Okmulgee Times has been off line for about a year I believe, and Morris has never been online that I know of. There is one of the Funeral Homes that is online, but I'm assuming you have found that by now. When I've visited the Okmulgee Library, they always have a few weeks of papers available, but not sure if they organize them. Tracy, in the Genealogy Dept at the library should be able to supply more information on those, and has always been very helpful when I've visited. I've also been told you can contact the paper for a copy of the paper, also, but since I haven't tried that, I can't confirm it personally. Feel free to contact me if you should have any questions. If she was from Okmulgee, it's very possible either me or some of my family that still lives that might have known her.
