William Edgar Robinson

I am seeking information on William Edgar Robinson, who was the 1st sheriff of Okmulgee County and was killed in the line of duty in November 1908. I am in Howard County, Missouri, the county in which Mr. Robinson was born. I am interested in finding his descendants, as Okmulgee County will be having a memorial service in 2008 to commemorate Mr. Robinson's ultimate sacrifice. Undersheriff McGuire of the Okmulgee County Sheriff Dept has contacted me in hopes that we can locate a descendant. I have traced his sister's family, and she had a son who died in the 1960's but had no children. Mr. Robinson had 2 young children (ages 4 and 6 I think) listed in his obituary but their names are not mentioned.

Any help would be appreciated.
