There were two Indian cemeteries West of Alluwe - the Bratcher and the Journeycake cemeteries. Both were relocated to Nowata, and all identifiable names are listed at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/nowata/nowata.html

Many of the graves were unknown. The Bratcher cemetery was just West of my cousin's house which was just North of the Lightning Creek bridge and on the West side of the highway.
