After posting my last message, I visited with my Uncle Woodrow Jordan. He told me that when he worked for the county he used to mow an old Indian Cemetery East of Nowata. He said you cross the river bridge, go up the hill and turn to the South. There used to be a Tommy Osment who lived down that road and he said that you turned into the cemetery close to his place. If anyone knows anything about this cemetery, or where one might obtain a list of who is buried there I would appreciate hearing from you. It is possible that this is the cemetery that my Greatgrandmother Mary May Stice Pearson was buried in around the year 1902-1903. Thanks in advance . . .
