Carla, You can find marriage & work permits for the Cherokee Nation at your local LDS Family History Center. They're on microfilm & you may have to order more than one to find the permit for Daniel Loghry. When you go to the FHC, get on the computer & look in the Fam. Hist. Library Catalog for # 1666319. This is a partial list of various records of Cooweescoowee Dist. There are hundreds of these microfilms but if you go to this number, it will put you in the middle of them.

Which one of Daniel & Leah's children was your ancestor? I have the Loghry genealogy & have been to several of the Loghry family reunions. (I'm a Farrell.)
