Thanks for your reply
I have been working on my family history for several years
and find my Johnson line is pretty hard to put together.
When I found that my Great Uncle Richard had lived at one time in Nowata we visited there hoping to find other relatives.
We visited the museum and was surprised to find a picture there of Richardís son William with I am thinking his brother John.
I would have loved a copy of the picture but they said no copies.
As we were leaving we noticed a picture of Gus Johnson and information that he had been the Sheriff.
I was interested to know if he may have been related to my Johnson line.
My Johnsonís were originally from Tennessee then to Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Would you know of any connection between your Johnson line and that of Richard Johnson who had son's John and William.
Richard had other children but I have not been able to find them since he moved to Oklahoma. His 1st wife died in Arkansas.
Any information you may have for my ancestors would be very appreciated
Thanks again for your response.
Happy Holidays Goldie Ernst.
