Happy Thanksgiving to you. Benton and Washington are adjoining and my family did have members who moved back and forth between the two counties. I don't know of my Van's name being Martin Vanburen, although it may have been. there were several different lines of Johnsons living in Washington co. and a couple in Benton Co. I have not been able to connect the lines though. Van was born in 1869. He married first in 1888 to Rosie Howell and had two children by her. After she died he married again in 1896 to Hettie Weaver. My Vanburen Johnson had four brothers: James, William, John P, and Thomas Albert "Bert". What was your gr-grandfather's name?
