Emma Tupker Rhodes

Seeking descendents of the family of Emma Tupker Rhodes. She was born about 1855 in St. Louis Missouri and was orphaned at the age of 4 when her mother, Isabella (Lamb) died. Her father, George William Tupker had died earlier, sometime about 1855-56 as Isabella had remarried in late 1856.
Emma was given to a Meth. minister, Pearce T. Rhodes and wife Kinney to raise. Emma was going by the name Rhodes when she signed off on her guardianship release in 1873 when she would have been 18 years old. That was in Emporia, Kansas. From there the path grows cold except for the family lore that she married and moved to Oklahoma.
If so...her maiden name was probably given as Rhodes and that is what any of her family probably would know. We know Emma knew who her biological parents were because of the guardianship papers.
Emma was a sister to my husband's greatgrandfather Henry I.Tupker, and great uncle Joseph Tupker. Henry lived Warren Co and Cass Co, after growing up in Illinois. Joseph grew up somewhere around Peoria.
Their maternal grandfather was Joseph Lamb of England, St. Louis and then Peoria, Illinois.
If any of this sounds the least bit familiar, please contact me. I would like to reconnect the family for my husband and son.
