OK SURNAMES I AM SEARCHING & OK 1933 Murder Mystery
Posted by: Tracey (DOWNS) GREGORY Date: January 15, 1998 at 09:03:28
  of 32097

The surnames I am searching are:

CEARLEY - Bristow area
DOWNS - Sapulpa/Pearsonia/Owasso area
GOWER - Bristow/Kelleyville area
CRANE - Sperry area
McGUFFIN - Kellyville/Bristow area
RAWDON - Jay/Sapulpa area
WOODWARD - Sapulpa area
WADLEY - Ripley, Payne county area & Brisotw area
RHINEHART/RHINEHOLD - Kellyville/Bristow/Creek county area 1933 ...this one may or may not be correct. It's a bit of a mystery to me --
it may even be a name that sounds like one of these. A man with one of these last names, was married to Lucy Lillian McGUFFIn (or Lillian Lucille) he was found murdered in a field abt 1933. She was pregnant at the time, with their only child, a daugther, LETHA LUCILLE. She never knew her fathers name, a relative later told her that it was something like the two I have listed. She must have looked like her father, because Lucy was indian and looked it. The daughter has red/strawberry blonde hair, green-blue eyes and VERY light complected.
If this sounds familiar to anyone please contact me.
