George Washington Thomas b Texas [unk dob/dod] [unk where born]
married
Nancy McClure [abt 1869, Van Buren County, Arkansas]
(mother Lucinda Holmes [abt 1848 in Arkansas] m Joseph Frank McClure [dob abt 1848 in Missouri]
(sister Margaret McClure, born abt 1876 in Arkansas
(sister Josephine McClure [abt 1885 in Texas] m Henry Kennelly [abt 1877 in Arkansas], with son Ivan m. Bulah B.

CHILDREN of George and Nancy Thomas:
* Joe Jack Thomas b 1888 or 1889 Marietta, Oklahoma d 1945 Mesa, Arizona
* Alvie Thomas b 1898 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma d 1945 Fresno, California
* Shide Thomas (unk if correct name and/or spelling) died about age 17, suicide [unk dob/dod or where, possibly in Oklahoma]

***I am looking for any/all information on George and Nancy. I have a copy of a marriage certificate for a GW Thomas and NC McClure in Fannin, Tx in 1888. [unk if this is them]. I cannot find anything on George and the last I can find on Nancy is in 1880 in Hill, Texas at age 11.

The birth locations for Joe and Alvie may not be correct. They both had delayed birth certificates. Joe's was filled out by my grandmother with info that Joe gave her. Joe also had a problem with telling the truth or he honestly just didnt know. He could not read or write. Also, Joe spent many years in and out of prisons in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona. I have gotten some prison records but others are lost in the state systems. On the Oklahoma ones, Joe lists that he left home at age 12 [which would have been 1900] (other ones he says age 15) , on all he lists that his parents are deceased but no parents names listed.

The reply from other "family" members is that they have no information either.

I hope this makes more sense. Thank you all for breaking this down for me.
