We traded emails a few months ago, but I'm a little confused again.
Ocie Ewin Hine & Jessie Dee McLaughlin had 6 children including Otis
Glenn Hine.
Otis was married in 1979 to Althea Mae Mealy (born 28 Feb 1911, died
19 May 2003).
Otis also married Thelma L. Dobbs (born bout 1917) and I thought their
son was Jerry Dean Hine (who later had his own son, Jon Hine) was born
in Oct 1941.
I just found on Ancestry.com a Texas Marriage Record Index listing for
Otis Glenn Hine & Thelma L. Dobbs being married 18 Dec 1988 in Ector
County TX.
If this is true, wouldn't that make Otis being married 3 times? Jerry
Dean Hine may be the son of Otis Glenn Hine, but he is too old to be
the son of either Althea Mae Mealy or Thelma L. Dobbs. Right?
